A Man Like None Other

Jared and Rosetta ran behind the demon beasts, and soon, they ran a long distance. The two of them followed the demon beasts from the boundless wilderness to the hills.

Scared, Rosetta asked, “Mr. Chance, where are these demon beasts bringing us? I didn’t pick up the rock from here.”

“I don’t know, but these demon beasts have lived on the Celestial Battlefield for ages. They surely know where the magical items are. We just need to follow them. I don’t think these demon beasts mean harm. We should be fine.” Jared was just as clueless, but he was determined to keep following the demon beasts.

After they crossed a hill with the demon beasts, a field filled with shiny items soon appeared in front of them.

At a closer look, Jared saw that the field was filled with weapons. However, the weapons were damaged. Well, it was a fierce battle. When the immortals fought the demonic immortals, their weapons were bound to get damaged. Nevertheless, it’s weird how big a pile of weapons is gathered here! It doesn’t seem like the weapons were dropped here. Instead, it looks as if someone has purposely collected and piled up all these weapons!

Right then, the leader of the demon beasts said,

“I picked up these weapons.”
