“You’ve had some seriously bad luck, but don’t worry. This isn’t the end of the world. You’ll be out of here soon enough!” Jared said, directing his words at Ezio.

Ezio let out a bitter laugh. “How is that even possible? If I don’t get out soon, I’ll probably die in this prison. The only hope I have left is that my sister manages to gather enough purple spirit coins to buy my freedom.”

“Does she have the money for that?” Jared asked, raising an eyebrow.

“No,” Ezio admitted. “But she’s been spending time with some rich kid. He seems loaded. She even sent me a top-tier pill to keep me going. If she can win that guy over, maybe we’ll finally have enough to bail me out.”

Ezio had no idea he was talking about Jared himself. Hearing this, Jared couldn’t help but laugh. “What if that rich kid is just messing around with your sister? What happens when he gets bored and leaves her behind?”

“I doubt it,” Ezio replied, shaking his head. “My sister might be a bit naive, but she’s not stupid. I just hope that guy truly cares for her. If she’s happy, even if she can’t free me, I can accept my fate.”
