Claude looked puzzled as Jared returned with three people.

“These are my friends. They’ll stay here for now. Is General Jaime around?” Jared asked.

“Yes, he was just looking for you earlier. It seems there might be an issue with the Buckley family,” Claude replied.

Jared immediately guessed that it must have been related to him killing Teegan, which likely caused some unrest in the Buckley family.

“I’ll leave them to you. Make sure they get some rest. I’ll go find General Jaime.”

After instructing Claude to escort Gordon and the others to their rooms, Jared went straight to Jaime’s council meeting room.

When Jared pushed open the door and entered, several commanders were already seated inside.
