A unreadable expression flashed across the frozen face and likewise the eyes.

Sherry lowered her head while simmering in anger and left Mr. Rowland's office.

 

"Sherry? What did Mr. Rowland say?" Ms. Hines asked uncharacteristically.

"Let's get back to work!" Sherry shook her head in resignation.
