"What!" Erica gasped. Her voice was tinged with excitement. "What did I miss?"

"He suddenly said yesterday that he wanted to pursue me, which was quite unexpected," Camila explained.

"Are you sure he's sincere about you?" Erica asked, with concern lacing her tone.

"I'm not sure," Camila admitted honestly.

She paused for a half-second before continuing, "He mentioned he's liked me for a while now. Remember when John pretended to be my boyfriend? I don't know how to explain that to him. Should I tell him I was just jealous and lied?"

Erica fell silent for a moment, then suggested, "Don't tell him.Keep him on his toes. If you want a lasting relationship with him, don't play your cards about your feelings too soon. Some people stop appreciating what they have once they get it."
