Rena bit her lower lip, a mixture of curiosity and apprehension coursing through her as she entered the bathroom. Emerging from the shower, she found herself clad only in his shirt.

Unsure of how to respond, Rena anxiously bit her lip.

Using the ingredients, she proceeded to prepare two bowls of nice simple soup.

He was engrossed in a phone conversation but gestured for her to come inside.

Stepping into the master bedroom, she lifted the thin quilt and carefully settled herself in bed. In the darkness, she waited with bated breath.
