Even when Noah had Wayne pull the car around and drive them back to Maple Forest Villa, Madeline’s head was still spinning. Mentally exhausted, Madeline started drifting off to sleep in the car. When Noah noticed that Madeline was fast asleep, he instinctively leaned toward her to let her lie comfortably in his arms.

Madeline awoke to find that she and Noah had arrived at the villa and that Noah had fallen asleep while hugging her.
