Aveline ordered all of Lucas' favorite dishes, then handed the menu back to the server and looked at Judy. "Did you get all that, Miss Thompson?"

"I...," Judy hesitated, surprised that Aveline would take the initiative to tell her all this-as if she were trying to teach her. What kind of thought process was this? What exactly was Aveline thinking? Hearing Aveline's words, Lucas' expression immediately turned colder, and the tension around him seemed to thicken.

But Aveline appeared unfazed and calmly continued, "This way, you won't have to ask him next time. I'm sure you've noticed by now that he's not much of a talker."
