"I...," Judy hesitated, surprised that Aveline would take the initiative to tell her all this-as if she were trying to teach her. What kind of thought process was this? What exactly was Aveline thinking? Hearing Aveline's words, Lucas' expression immediately turned colder, and the tension around him seemed to thicken.

But Aveline appeared unfazed and calmly continued, "This way, you won't have to ask him next time. I'm sure you've noticed by now that he's not much of a talker."

Judy felt a pang of irritation. "You don't need to worry about that. After spending more time together, I'll naturally pick up on these things."
