Selena's eyes flickered briefly, and after only a moment of hesitation, she answered the call.

"Hello, Mom," she said, her tone calm but with a hint of detachment.

She wasn't Aaron-she couldn't simply hang up on his mother. If she did, her position within the Fletcher family would only become more difficult.

Aaron, hearing the conversation, glanced over at her, his gaze darkening. He moved to take her phone, but Selena gently stopped him, shaking her head. She then put the call on speaker. Aaron's mother, Nathalie Campbell, spoke with a cold tone, "Have you both arrived in Cloudflare City?"

Selena replied, "Yes, we've just arrived."

"Come home now," Nathalie ordered without waiting for a response, abruptly hanging up.
