And, despite the uncouth gesture that my party made this morning, I hope you will believe me when I say that I am very pleased to be here and eager to build a good relationship between our nations.”

It is not. But I hope that over the next few days I can convince you that you have at least one ally over this border.”

Slowly, Sinclair nods, pulling me closer to his side. “I look forward to being convinced,” my mate says evenly, still studying this strange Prince.
