KIARA'S POV 

I am rudely awoken by the blasting sound of my alarm clock.The time is six am and I have to wake up and get ready for training with my mentor.That has been my usual daily routine for as long as I can remember.

They say being powerful has its perks but so far, I have n't seen any perks, just cons.

I see my powers as a curse to me.I am the most powerful werewolf in my family and since the day I was born, I have been greatly feared by my father especially as my mother died during child birth.

For this reason, he decided to keep me away from the world by locking me up in this mansion and when I turned four years old, he assigned a mentor for me who trained me and helped me refine my skills and of course know how to control my strength.

"Just one more night" I whisper to myself as I step into my bathtub.

When I turned sixteen , I had begged my father to release me but he had declined, he told me he would only do that when I turned eighteen and the very next day is my eighteenth birthday.I can't wait for tomorrow to come.I didn't only look forward to meeting new people and experiencing life like other werewolves but I also look forward to finding my mate.

My mentor already told me all I need to know about finding mates and the strong connection that is instantly felt the moment they see each other.I can't wait for that moment to come.

Tomorrow is going to be my big day of dreams come true.Or so I thought.
