Chapter 389 - The legend of the Gifted Wolf

The second Doctor Finn left Seraphine in the VIP ward, he spun on his heel and headed straight back to his office, his mind spinning wildly out of control.

Years of rigorous medical training screamed that what he’d just witnessed should have been flat-out impossible.

Yet he’d seen it with his own eyes, a completely shattered limb healing itself in seconds, no surgery, no traditional methods, nothing from modern medicine. Something ancient, raw, and unbelievably powerful had taken over.

By the time he burst into his office with Voren, Kael was still seated where they’d left him. The Beta jumped up immediately, confusion flashing across his face.

Just a little while ago his Alpha had bolted out of here like the whole hospital was burning down. Now both of them looked dead serious, tension thick in the air.

"Doctor Finn," Kael greeted with a nod.

The older doctor gave him a quick smile. "Beta Kael. You’re still here."

"Someone had to stick around and make sure Alpha didn’t wreck the furniture while I was gone," Kael quipped with a grin.

Voren shot him a sharp look, and the Beta wisely shut his mouth.

Doctor Finn drew in a deep, steadying breath. This was a conversation he never in a million years thought he’d be having today. But after what he’d seen in that ward, staying silent wasn’t an option. His gaze locked onto Voren, his voice heavy with gravity. "Alpha."

The serious tone instantly pulled both men’s full attention. "Back at the academy, I trained Seraphine Walker, the former Luna of the Centenary Pack."
