All of the responsible parties had been given an assignment, and by the end of the day they were all quite nervous since they hadn’t been able to uncover any proof that would assist them in identifying the culprit.

Xavier had left to deal with the Vampire King, but the next murder could very well have occurred by the time he returned. That was not going to happen, according to the younger Alpha. In any case, he needed to find the perpetrator!
