"I'm fine," Anne said with a half-hearted smile. It was rare for Kevin to look and sound so thoughtful, which made her wonder if everything that happened was real.

Unexpectedly, Kevin had grown some affinity towards her aloofness. In fact, he was starting to think that it was kind of lovely and cute.
