I had to wait for Aiden.

A word with his father was taking longer than I thought. Hours passing by as I roll around the bed, snooping through drawers for whatever. My mind always taking me back to the conversation with Eleanor.

I knew now that I was not welcome in this house and I needed to get out as soon as possible. It's actually a shame that they don't like me, that they would rather have their son miserable with Jane because they preferred her.
