“Elder James, I want to thank you for listening to us and not being as closed minded as Elder Thomas.” “I mean no disrespect but it was very evident he is siding with Atlas.” “I respect my fellow Elder, but we do not share the same ideas of women in our society.” “Regardless of his opinion I have the final say and I will make sure that he understands as such.” “Honestly, Lincoln, this is not how I expected our visit to go today.” “That’s true you said you needed my help.” “So please, what can we do for you.” He smiles “we did need your help to locate Amelia after Atlas told Elder Thomas she ran away due to the lies Freya told her.” “Obviously that is no longer the case.” “What happens now Elder James” I ask. “I will return to the other Elders and we will have a discussion on how to proceed.” “I ask that you do not attack Darkmoon however if they present any threat to you or your Luna you have the Elders permission and support to defend your pack.” “We will be making a visit to the Darkmoon to launch a formal investigation into the death of Alpha Elias and Atlas’s disgusting behavior.” He turns to Neal “Neal we can find placement for you in a pack as I’m sure you do not wish to return to the Darkmoon” Elder James says. “That will not be necessary, Neal will be joining the Nightfire Pack.” Elder James looks at me with shock on his face.

Elder James nods before he stands. “I will be in touch Alpha Lincoln and Luna Amelia.” I love that he acknowledges her as my Luna. I stand and shake his hand before he leaves. I turn and Amelia wraps her arms around me “thank you, Lincoln, for accepting me and arranging this meeting.” “You never have to thank me love, I will defend you with my last breath.” She pulls back and kisses my lips gently. I hear a throat clear and I look back at a smiling Michael. Amelia stands next to me with a blush on her cheeks. He comes over and wraps me in a bro-hug. “Congratulations on finding our Luna.” Once he releases me, he goes to stand in front of Amelia and bares his neck. She wraps him in a hug and he looks toward me before he returns it. “Thank you for accepting me Michael”, Amelia says. Michael is like my brother and I’m proud to call him my Beta. “Michael, can you go get John and Lily so we can let them know what’s happening.”

Amelia POV
