38 No More Secrets

Calliope POV

The door to my room opens and Eli walks in holding Faith. My heart squeezes in my chest. Aurora is prancing in my mind knowing our pup is so close. He sits down in the chair next to my bed and Faith reaches for me. I take her and she lays her head on my chest. “It seems Faith has already claimed you too.” I can feel the tear run down my cheek. I run my fingers through her hair and I can feel her breathing even out. Aurora is purring, having our pup asleep on my chest. The two girls sit on the couch while Oliver addresses me.

“Cali, how are you feeling?” A low growl comes from my mate. “Eli, he is my friend and Beta. He is allowed to call me that unless we are in a formal meeting.
