Chapter 764

An ear-piercing sound of brakes could be heard.

The inertia brought about by the emergency stop of the sports car had also caused the defenceless Elizabeth to be severely strangled by the safety belt. She fell down and sat back on her seat again.

"What are you doing? Do you want to die!?" Elizabeth immediately glared at the man beside her in anger.

Because he was prepared to brake, he didn't look like he was in a sorry state. His deep eyes were staring straight at her small, angry face.

Following that, he stretched out his big hands from the steering wheel towards her, using his long fingers to pinch Elizabeth Jones's small, snow-white chin and twitching it left and right, as though it would make it easier for him to size her up.

Elizabeth was shocked by his strange movements. The man's finger was very warm, touching her soft and tender skin.

That kind of warmth was instantly transmitted to Elizabeth's heart, causing her breathing to lose rhythm, and her heart to beat faster.

Richard did not speak, his pair of sharp and dark eyes continued to size her up.

"What are you doing?" Elizabeth was frightened by his gaze. Why did this man look like she was choosing his own pet?

She was a living person and she didn't want to become his pet.

"Hmm, although it looks average, it's not too bad!" After looking around, Richard came to a conclusion.

Elizabeth held her breath tight.

Because of what he had just said, she almost choked to death on her own saliva.

What did the man mean by that?

She was not bad looking in the first place.

"If you are a little more obedient, I can consider you!" Richard raised his brows coldly, and a clear and melodious male voice rang out right after.

"Think about what?" Elizabeth was confused by his words.

Once again, Richard Hughes's gaze locked onto her. Because the light was weak, her pair of sparkling eyes became clearer, causing her entire person to be covered in a layer of faint light.

"I'll consider letting you be my real girlfriend!" Richard replied plainly and directly.

"What?" Elizabeth's beautiful eyes widened as she looked at him in disbelief, "Is what you said true?"

Richard plainly curled his lips, "That depends on whether or not you're qualified enough to be my girlfriend."

Elizabeth was ecstatic, because his words were like a bucket of cold water being poured over him.

"Do you have to go through strict selection to be your girlfriend?" If it really was like this, then she really didn't need to look forward to anything else. Elizabeth's concept of love, was a mutual love, and it wasn't because she liked a person, that she had to work hard to become the kind of person she wanted.

She didn't change for anyone. She was her, a completely different type of person.

Richard said with a slightly cold tone, "I like obedient girlfriends."

"I'm not a pet dog, how can I listen to you?" Elizabeth laughed. As expected, this man had a lot of demands, if that was the case, then what was the point of dating him?

Richard did not expect this woman to have such a character, who said that she wanted to pursue him just now?

Wasn't the one who fell in love first losing first?

Richard wanted to reveal his sense of superiority, but he quickly realized that Elizabeth would never compromise whatever he wanted just because she liked him.

"In that case, forget it!" Richard coldly swept his eyes at her and once again activated the sports car.

Elizabeth was extremely depressed.

Did this man think she was a plaything?

When they were almost at the center of the city, Elizabeth finally opened her mouth and said something.

"Take me to your place to pack up. Since you don't need me to act out with you, I'll move back to my own residence tonight. I won't disturb you any longer."

What Richard wanted to hear, was not these….

"Are you sure you want to leave tonight?" Richard indifferently swept his gaze over her.
