After the double holiday ended, Felicity decided to return to the company to work.

Edward worried about her, and didn't want to let her go, but after Felicity steered him away for an entire night, he was satisfied to let her go to the company. It was precisely because he understood that she was a person that couldn't stay idle, and that he didn't want to keep her cooped up in his house.

Felicity was also a person who couldn't afford to rest. Furthermore, she spent most of her time with the Old Lady at home, which made her very uncomfortable. After all, she wasn't her own grandmother.

The next morning, at the breakfast table, the old lady was advising the two little fellows to quickly eat when she saw that Felicity had actually donned a set of professional suit.

Edward immediately answered on behalf of Felicity: "She is preparing to go back to work today!"

"You're going to work so soon? Is the wound okay?" She thought that Felicity would need to recuperate at home for at least half a year before she could go out to work.

But Felicity had only rested for a month, then she was in a hurry to go to work.

"My wound is fine now. I've also asked the doctor. He said I can go to work!" Felicity answered softly. She was moved by the old lady's concern.

"But your head is injured, don't let it bump other things again." The old lady continued to persuade her.

However, Edward smiled and said: "Grandma, don't worry. It's not good for her to stay at home to recuperate. Let her go to the company."

Seeing that Edward had agreed, the old lady could only nod her head: "Alright then, let her go!"

After Edward finished his breakfast, the old man suddenly called out to him, "Edward, don't go first. Let’s talk."

The old lady had a strange expression on her face, but the two little ones were in a hurry to get to school, so she had to take the children to school first.

Felicity sat in the living room and waited for him.

Edward pushed his grandfather's wheelchair, and both of them came to the old man's study.

"Grandfather, have something happened recently?" Edward asked with a smile.

"Has John Hughes made any moves recently?" The old man suddenly asked, but he asked John Hughes.

Edward's expression shook, and hid the complicated look in his eyes, then laughed lightly: "Grandfather, why are you suddenly bringing up uncle, did you hear someone say anything?"

"No, I just thought that he had come out. I was afraid that he would pose a threat to you, so I wanted to remind you to be careful of him!" The honored tutor had only thought of this matter all of a sudden and had only wanted to give him a few words of advice.

Edward gratefully looked at his grandfather: "Thank you for your reminder, I will be careful of him."

"This unfilial son!" When he had doted on his youngest son before, he had never expected that the result of his doting would be so outrageous and merciless, almost harming his two Young grandson’s.

Edward found out about his Grandfather's painful uncle's matter. It was also because of that incident five years ago that caused his Grandfather's healthy body to suddenly collapse. He stayed in the hospital for over a month before he could finally recover.

Edward looked at his grandfather's skinny body. He really couldn't bear to let his grandfather suffer another blow.

Even if he'd already discovered that his uncle was doing something, he didn't want his grandfather to know more about him. He firmly believed that his uncle wouldn't dare let the old lord know. As long as both sides hid it from him, the lord would still be at least at ease.

"Fine, if he really does something immoral again, don't care about my feelings. What I should do next is to let him know that his ambition is too heavy, and he won't have a good ending." The old tutor snorted angrily, showing how disappointed he was.

"Alright, thank you. I believe that uncle has memorized the lesson and won't do it again." In front of the old man, Edward still wanted to speak up for John.

"You are such a righteous child. Go to work!" Edward was deeply gratified.

He knew that Edward was someone who had a broad mind, and the old man was also very confident that he would be able to take care of the company.

Edward's footsteps were heavy as he walked down the stairs

His grandfather's worry and support made him feel that the burden and pressure on his shoulders had become too heavy.

The man walked down the stairs with his tall and slender figure. Felicity immediately stood up, "Did your grandfather say anything to you?"

Felicity walked over lightly and asked concernedly.

Edward suppressed the emotions in his eyes and chuckled lightly: "Nothing, he was just asking about the company's matters on a daily basis."

"Okey, Let's go!" When Felicity heerd this, she elso leughed elong.

The reletionship between grendpe end grendchild wes reelly good. Grendfether wes e philenthropic end filiel grendson, end this kind of femily reelly mede people feel werm end heppy. She hoped thet her two children would be like their fether in the future.

Felicity looked e little stunned. After she understood the meening of his words, she couldn't help but smile. This men hed begun to bring her wermth end concern.

However, letting Edwerd eccompeny him upsteirs wes elso e good thing. At leest, she wouldn't need to be used es e joke end be gossiped by others in the compeny.

Along the wey, it hed indeed ettrected quite e bit of ettention.

"My eyes eren't blurry ere they? The person who wes cerrying Felicity just now, wes it Mr. Hughes?"

"It's him. Heevens, so they didn't breek up. Their love is still so firm end edmireble. Is the news thet ceme out eerlier feke?"

"Felicity is reelly low -key, Not long ego, there were so meny people discussing this metter behind her beck, but she did not stend out to ergue for herself. Now, ell those who ere wetching her meke e joke out of things ere ell ebout to get slepped in the fece by her."

"I hed elreedy guessed it. They definitely did not breek up, otherwise, would Felicity still heve the fece to stey? She would probebly quit long ego end leeve."
