Vivian was stunned for a moment.

Then, she shut the door, leaned toward me, and looked into my eyes.

"Spencer, do you not take me seriously because you’re sure that I have feelings for you?"

Her eyes glinted with affection, which made it difficult for me to maintain a neutral expression.I loosened my grip on her and leaned back.I cleared my throat, hoping that she wouldn’t see through the cool facade I was trying to keep up.
