Scarlett's POV: 

In the amusement park… Charles brought me to the roller coaster.

It began to move and rose slowly, inching towards the top: Frightened, I subconsciously grabbed Charles's hand and gripped it tight.

"Why are we riding the roller coaster? Have you ever rode on one before?"

Charles separated my fingers slowly and clasped our hands together.
