Scarlett’s POV:

After leaving Charles’ house, I went back to my house on Garden Street.

As soon as I got home, I took out my phone, and saw the messages he sent me, feeling a little sad.

Since I did not know how to face him, I could only hide from him.I changed the lock code of my door and muted my phone. After taking a shower, I lay on the bed, thinking that he might knock on my door at any moment, but there was no sound.
