Charles was wheeled into the emergency room at once.With a heavy heart, I watched the door of the emergency room close.Silently, I prayed for Charles’ safety.

‘Charles, you have to survive this.I still have a lot of things to say to you.What am I supposed to do if you die?’ 

At long last, the Moores arrived.

"How is Charles doing? How did the car accident even happen?" Alice held my arm as tears ran down her cheeks.

Soon, the doctor came out.I sprang to my feet and approached him hurriedly.
