Chapter 5

"Dear Dawn, I don't think I have ever been so frustrated in my entire life, I mean how can one person, frustrate me so much, and I haven't even met him yet. He messed up everything I had to leave classes two and go search for him. It is so annoying. And on my birthday too." I write down annoyed. It was already lunch, I still couldn't find this Joseph Wilson character, it should not be so hard to find him, I knew everyone who attended Brook High School, I knew all the corners, so I don't understand how he has successfully evaded me, many times. I missed half of Miss Pearl's class by the time I came back. I looked everywhere, trying to find him, but it was almost like he didn't want to be found. I searched high and low, trying to search for someone whose face I have never seen, only his name I heard of. And what kind of name was Joseph Wilson anyway, stupid name, and stupid person.

I returned to class almost half an hour later, hoping he had come back, and somehow no body had come to find me to come back to the classroom, for he had come back. When I went back, my eyes found Miss Pearl's own, and I communicated through eye contact that I didn't find him. She just nodded softly and I went back to my seat. Luckily, I had already read that topic, so I was not lost. But my eyes always strayed to the door, hoping to see a stranger with the stranger name, Joseph Wilson. The bell rang loudly, signifying the end of the class, and no sign of the stranger. I sighed heavily. Packing up my stuff, I walk like the world was on my shoulders.

"He isn't dead you know" Sophie remarked.

"Yeah he isn't, but I didn't give him the tour on time, what if he got lost and got into trouble? I neglected my presidential duties." I say feeling down.

"Okay, wow, you over think stuff, first of this Joseph, is an adult, therefore accountable for his own actions, second before being a prez, you were a student, so stop blaming yourself." Andrina tells me sternly, in that big sister tone she uses with me. I smile at her and nod.

That happened before we got to the cafeteria for lunch. Even after Andrina's pep talk, I was worried about him, where would a new student be by this time if not on school grounds?

"What was he like?" I asked my friends before sipping my strawberry milkshake.

"Are you still bothered about him?" Sophie asked finally looking away from her phone.

"Of course I am, what if he was kidnapped?" I asked suddenly panicking. What if he was helpless right now. Tied and stored away in a dark place.

They both burst out laughing. I looked at them weird, this was serious.
