Alyssa found that Frank was not looking at her. Perhaps, he hadn’t seen her standing close to ‘Justin’. That was good, she was safe for at least now.

She needed to think of a way to get rid of this man. So she slipped into the kitchen silently.

Seeing she entered into the kitchen, Emmett sat down on the sofa. He had a small smile of victory on his face. It was obvious that he didn’t have any mood to talk with his assistant.

So Frank left.

Even if he had worked for the man for many years, he had no idea what his boss was thinking. So it was better to leave it as it was.

In the kitchen, Alyssa opened the fridge and found fresh vegetables and meat. Not thinking too much, she grabbed some meat and vegetables. But what the heck she was gonna to make for him?

Just as she was about to chop the vegetables, something flashed in her mind. Didn’t Justin make breakfast the first day she arrived here? But there were not any maids here, which meant he knew cooking for sure.

She didn’t know why a young master from a rich family would a work like cooking. But if he could, why did he ask her to make food for him?

Did he really think she was a maid brought by his cousin?

Alyssa sneered and put the vegetables back in the fridge. Damn that man to hell!

She came to the living room and glanced at Justin at the sofa. Seeing his focusing on his phone, she sighed in relief and slowed down her pace and walked upstairs.

May be because she was too easy to compromise, he thought he could bully her as he pleased. But now anymore!

The face that Justin could stay at Emmett’s house proved that they were very close to each other.

Then how could Justin say to Emmett that she seduced him? Wouldn’t it create a division between them? Even though Emmett didn’t like her, he possibly couldn’t withstand when she was taken away another man. Not only it would hurt Emmett’s ego, but with his fickle personality wouldn’t it be equivalent to writing a death wish.

So, she made her mind and went to her room upstairs which looking back.

Emmett waited for a long time in the living room but didn’t get a sign of Alyssa. His hand paused and he couldn’t help but look around. There was no sound coming from the kitchen.

He glanced at the kitchen and suddenly though of something. Then he got up and strode to the kitchen.

“Have you fainted or something, Sister-in-law?”

However, as he got closer he realized that, Alyssa, that ugly woman, was not in the kitchen at all!

Huh, that woman actually tricked him!

“Interesting.” He muttered, shaking his head.

That night, Alyssa had a happy smile on her face. When she thought of Justin waiting at the living room for a long time and could not find her, she could not help but laugh happily. Even though he was so angry, he could not make trouble for her.

This was the first time Alyssa felt so carefree in her all lifetime. She even had a beautiful dream this night.

The next morning, she was woken up by the ringtone of her phone.

She rubbed her eyes, took the phone and glanced at the caller ID. She found out that it was her best friend, Hazel. Hazel was the only friend she had in this city, who had been filming abroad for three months.

Alyssa picked it up and sounded joyful, “Hazel, are you coming back?”
