When the meeting ended, Jason turned to Alyssa and said gently, "Alyssa, come to my office."

"Okay."

Alyssa roughly knew what Jason wanted her to do.

During the meeting, the higher ups suggested Dylan to endorse the products of the Moore Group. Jason's eyes lit up.

Obviously, Jason was very interested in this proposal.

Alyssa walked out of the meeting room and was blocked by Skylar, who was already waiting at the door.

"Big Sister, what do you want?" Skylar's perfume smell was too strong and Alyssa was not used to it and took half a step back.

Although her expression did not change, Skylar still felt Alyssa's dislike towards her very subtly.

Her expression immediately darkened. She said in a stern voice, "Alyssa, don't think that you have persuaded Emmett to help the Moore Group get through this crisis and your father values you, you can be proud. Don't forget who gave you all this!"

Recently, she had almost no presence in the company.

Those employees all went to curry favor with Alyssa, and Jason also wanted to make her, the project manager, a completely idle person.

This made her feel a strong sense of crisis.

"You gave it to me?"

Alyssa smiled and said slowly, "The engagement with Lawrence family back then was made by grandfather, and my life was given by my parents. I have to thank them for today. So, I will never forget who gave me all of this."

"Alyssa!" Skylar was angered by her words until her face was somewhat distorted.

Ever since Skylar was young, Alyssa was always worse than her.

Back then, she had asked Aurora to marry Alyssa to Emmett and thought that Alyssa would be killed by Emmett.

But, she had never thought that Alyssa would one day be able to ride on top of her.

This made her feel extremely unbalanced.

An ugly and dirt woman actually climbed onto her head to show off.

She could not endure this matter. Alyssa deserved to die!

"You have been very angry recently. Go back and let Mom stew some soup to nourish the fire and remove the fire." After Alyssa finished speaking, she gently pushed her to the side. "Dad is still waiting for me in the office. I will go over first."

Skylar hatefully looked at Alyssa's back as she left. She tightly clenched her hands and did not notice the blood that spilled out from the corner of her mouth when she bit it.

In Jason's office.

"Dad, why are you looking for me?" Alyssa had guessed what Jason was thinking, but she pretended not to know.

Jason thought for a moment and said slowly, "Alyssa, the company was able to get through this crisis thanks to your help. Dad is very grateful to you."

"You said that we are a family. This was originally something that I should do. What are you thanking me for?" Alyssa slightly lowered her eyelids and covered the coldness in her eyes.

Jason was not a fool. He knew that he did not treat Alyssa well in the past and was also a little worried that she would hold a grudge. He had some concerns in his heart.

However, a person's character was developed from a young age. Although he rarely cared about Alyssa, but from her attitude towards Aurora, it could be seen that she was a very easily soft-hearted person.

But he had forgotten that people's hearts were made of flesh. No matter how soft-hearted a person was, when they were forced to the point of no retreat, she could also harden her heart and not care about face.

Alyssa's words were very sincere. Jason heard it with a gratified expression, "You are really sensible after getting married. What did you think of their suggestions during the meeting?"

He had finally gotten to the point.

"I think this suggestion is good, but it is not feasible. Dylan is one of the top big shots in the entertainment industry. His schedule must be very high. Let alone companies like ours, he might not even accept those endorsements and advertisements from international big shots."

Besides, most celebrities would not want to get endorsements from companies that had negative influences. They would make the audience dislike them.

Dylan was even more so.

Jason was very clear about this in his heart.

However, in his opinion, although the Moore Group couldn't let Dylan lower his status to endorse their products, the Lawrence family could.

If Alyssa asked the people of the Lawrence family to pressure Dylan, how could Dylan, a person who relied on acting to survive, resist the Lawrence family?

His thoughts were wonderful, and he looked determined.

Jason walked to Alyssa's side and patted her on the shoulder. "It is precisely because this task is difficult for ordinary people to handle, that I want to leave this task to you. I believe in your ability."

"This..." Alyssa looked troubled. "I may not be able to complete this task. After all."

"Don't say such sad words first. Even if you can't do it yourself, don't you still have Emmett?" Jason did not say anything else.

Alyssa raised her head to look at him. There was a look of understanding in her eyes. "I will try my best."

It would be strange if she tried her best.
