In the dining room.

Alyssa sat and ate. Emmett just sat opposite her with his arms crossed and stared at her.

There was a usual indifferent expression on his face, but his eyes were unusually focused, as if he had not seen her for several years.

Alyssa felt that Emmett's appearance was too strange. She felt very awkward when he looked at her.

Hence, she asked Emmett, "What's the matter with Clara?"

She naturally believed in Emmett, but she still had to find out what was going on.

Why would Clara come to Emmett's villa and what was going on with the news?

Emmett did not answer and asked, "Have you seen the news?"

"Yes, I saw it." Alyssa stuffed another spoonful of porridge into her mouth and squinted her eyes in satisfaction.

Jessie's cooking was really good.

Although she also knew how to cook, her cooking skills were far inferior compared to Jessie’s.

Emmett carefully observed her expression and found that other than her face full of satisfaction, there was no trace of anger at all.

He raised his eyebrows and asked, "Aren’t you angry?"

"Anyway, it's not true. What's there to be angry about?" She just felt a little uncomfortable.

Emmett's name was associated with other women. She did not feel good about it.

As she thought about it, she took the spoon and poked it twice in the bowl. She was a little angry now.

Emmett stared at her closely, not letting go of any of her eyes and movements. "You trust me so much?"

"Why don't I trust you? If you want someone like Clara, you might as well go find Skylar."

Alyssa was just trying to make an analogy, but Emmett's expression immediately darkened.

Alyssa carefully glanced at him and found that his expression was very ugly. She was a little puzzled in her heart. What did she say that offended him?

"Alyssa, listen carefully."

"Ah?" Was he going to scold her?

"Don't say things like asking me to look for other women again."

"Ah?" Alyssa had been thinking about how she would respond to Emmett if he wanted to scold her. That was what he said.

She was a little helpless. She felt that this man was sometimes even more stubborn than her.

"I'm just making an analogy."

“Not even in an analogy.”

"Alright then." Alyssa's arrogance immediately weakened.

Only then did Emmett adjust his expression and talk to Alyssa about proper business.

He slightly knitted his brows and said, "Clara might already suspect my identity."

Alyssa had almost finished eating by now. When she heard him, she put down the spoon and looked at him. "Then what should we do?"

Emmett thought for a moment and said, "Let nature take its course."

"How can nature take its course?" Alyssa could not keep up with Emmett's thinking.

Let nature take its course. Does it mean that Emmett is going to start appearing in the public eye?

Then, the rumors about the young master of Lawrences family's disfigured face would break.

What followed closely might be that countless women would want to approach Emmett.

Alyssa had a subtle feeling in her heart.

It was as if she had hidden a treasure. Only she could see it. Only she knew how good this treasure was. One day, this treasure appeared in the public eye and was coveted by more people.

This feeling wasn't very good.

"Are you full?" Emmett suddenly asked.

Alyssa nodded. "Yes."

Then, Alyssa was pulled back to the bedroom by Emmett. As soon as she entered the room, he kissed her intensely.

The subtle emotions in Alyssa's heart were also washed away by this intimate kiss.

In the past, when she heard people say that it was like three seasons to not see each other in a day, Alyssa always felt that it was too exaggerated.

But these few days, Alyssa actually had this kind of feeling as well.

Alyssa's obedience and cooperation made Emmett even happier.

When the feelings became strong, Emmett coaxed her with a hoarse voice, "Call me husband."

"Hubby!"

Alyssa was on the morning flight. When she came back, she just had a bowl of porridge and was caught by Emmett in the room.

When she woke up, it was already night.

The big light in the room was not turned on. There was only a weak light at the side.

Alyssa turned her head and saw Emmett sitting on the sofa not far from the bed, looking at the documents. The floor lamp beside him gave off a dim yellow light.

Emmett had already taken a bath. His hair was soft and tender, resting on his forehead. He was wearing a comfortable house uniform. The fierce aura on his body was weakened by the warm yellow light. He looked very gentle.

Alyssa stared at him for a while and could not help but smile. She turned her body very lightly.

This small movement attracted Emmett's attention.
