Along the way, there were maids and bodyguards everywhere they passed. They would stop and greet Alyssa and Emmett.

The maid turned around and nodded slightly at Emmett.

Emmett held Alyssa's hand tightly. "Let's go in."

Alyssa was led into the room by Emmett.

The room was very warm. There was a faint fragrance of ink and tea. The room was simple. There was a row of bookshelves, a desk, and some tea sets.

Winston stood in front of the desk with a brush in his hand. He was writing in front of the desk. Although he was over seventy years old, he was full of vigor. He stood straight and looked calm and composed.

Emmett called out from the side, "Grandpa."

Winston raised his head and coincidentally met Alyssa's eyes that had been staring at him. He did not say a word, but he was not angry.

Alyssa slightly lowered her eyes. Emmett silently pulled Alyssa behind him.
