Skylar must have come to the Lost City audition because she did not know that the screenwriter of the Lost City was Alyssa.

But after the events of the past two days, Skylar should already know about it.

When she went back, Alyssa had just left the film studio complex when a white minivan stopped in front of her.

The door of the car was opened with a swishing sound and Skylar who was wearing high heels and sunglasses got out of the car.

It was August. And Skylar took the pains to wear a leather jacket in order to make a fashion statement.

Skylar crossed her arms and walked in front of Alyssa. She slightly raised her chin and had a high posture, "I heard from your mother that you are also in the film studio complex."

Alyssa did not speak and just looked at Skylar calmly.

Skylar was angered by Alyssa's completely ignoring look but when she thought of her own goal, she could only forcefully endure her anger, "Did you write 'Lost City'?"

"Yes." Alyssa wanted to see what kind of trick Skylar wanted to play now.

Skylar took off her sunglasses and raised her chin as she spoke, "You have a good relationship with the producer of Lost City, right? I like this script. I don't have to act as the female lead and you can get an important supporting role for me. If you do that, I will write off our past matters. You can also return to the Moore family."

Write off past matters?

Alyssa sneered, "What do you mean by write off everything that happened between us? Did I ever do anything to you? As for going back to the Moore family, I don't want to go back even if you beg me."

Skylar did not expect Alyssa to be so ungrateful.

She was so angry that her expression changed greatly. "This is the last chance I give you. Seeing that you are all alone and wandering outside, I will give you a chance to return to the Moore family, but you still don't know what's good for you!"

How could Alyssa not know what Skylar was thinking?

What Skylar said about giving her a chance to return to the Moore family was nothing more than to let Alyssa return to the Moore family and let her be like how she was in the past, at Skylar's command.

Skylar's plan was indeed good, but Alyssa would not fall for it like a fool.

"Yes, I don't know what's good for me. You should leave this opportunity to others."

"You!!!"

Alyssa ignored Skylar, walked around her and left.

Alyssa knew the people of the Moore family very well and knew that Skylar would not let this matter go easily.

Sure enough, the next day, she received a phone call from Jason.

Jason's only advantage was probably that he had no bottom line in pampering his children.

Of course, expect for Alyssa.

"Since you have returned to Holston City, why don't you come home?" Jason seemed to have lost his memory. He did not mention anything about removing their father and daughter relationship.

Alyssa did not plan to let Jason get away with it. She reminded him, "Since Mr. Moore has forgotten, let me remind you that we are no longer father and daughter.”

Jason did not take Alyssa's words seriously. "If you are willing to return to Moore family, I am willing to let bygones be bygones with you."

Alyssa wanted to laugh when she heard that.

"What wrong did I do to you that you want to let bygones be bygones with me?"

Alyssa felt that she would never be able to understand what was going on in the minds of the Moore family in this lifetime.

It was obvious that she had always been used and abandoned.

But in the mouth of the Moore family, it became that she had let them down. Now, they were magnanimous enough to forgive her and allow her to return to the Moore family.

Jason's voice turned cold. "You know very well what you have done. No matter what, our Moore family has been kind to you raise you up. Now is the time for you to repay your kindness."

"Mr. Moore, if you have time, you should better go to the hospital and have a brain examined to see if there is something wrong with your brain." Alyssa hung up the phone after she finished speaking.

She poured herself a big cup of water and drank it. She let out a long sigh of relief and sat down on the sofa.

There were no more ingredients at home, so she decided to go out and buy something.

Alyssa drove to the nearest supermarket. When she came back, she found a luxury car parked at the entrance of the apartment building.

It was said to be a luxury car, but it was incomparable to Emmett's. It was just that compared to this neighborhood, it was somewhat out of place.

At this time, her phone rang with the notification of a new text message.

Alyssa took out her phone to take a look and found that it was a text message from Henry.

"Get in the car. I have something for you."

After Alyssa read the text message, she suddenly looked up at the luxury car. She strode over and opened the door. The man who was smoking in the car was none other than Henry.

"What are you doing here?" Alyssa frowned and looked at him.

Henry extinguished the cigarette in his hand and turned to her. "Get in the car. I have something to talk to you about."

Alyssa was not used to the strong smell of smoke in the car. She fanned her nose and looked at him skeptically.

Only then did she notice that something was wrong with Henry today.

The ashtray was full of cigarette butts and Henry looked a little haggard.

Alyssa asked, "What's wrong with you?"

"Do you care about me?" Henry turned to look at her.
