Hearing this, Dylan asked, "Do you have his phone number?"

Alyssa paused and said, "Yes."

She did not contact Justin much since she came back to Holston City. Occasionally, Justin would send her a WeChat message. But the two of them would simply greet each other.

After she knew what had happened to Richard, she was worried about Justin. But she could not go and meet with Justin directly.

After all, she was not ”Emmett's wife” now. How could she possibly know that Richard had died in a car accident?

If she had taken the initiative to approach Justin people from the Lawrence Family would definitely suspect her.

But now that Dylan had taken the initiative to come to find her, he had given her a good reason to look for Justin.

Emmett was about to have a meeting when he found Alyssa calling him. He got up and went out with his phone.

Emmett walked outside the meeting room and asked her in a low voice. "What's wrong?"

"Dylan came to see me just now."

"Why did he come to find you?" Emmett frowned slightly and his tone became cold. Clearly, he was also on guard against Dylan just like Alyssa.

"He told me about your uncle’s accident and asked me to have some time to chat with Chen." Alyssa told EMMETT what Dylan said to her.

Emmett was silent for a moment before he slowly said, "Are you willing?"

"Of course I am." Alyssa paused and said, "Actually, I think Justin likes you very much. If you have time, you can go and comfort him."

Although she and Justin had known each other for a while and had a certainly good relationship, she felt that at the bottom of Justin’s heart, Emmett would still be most special.


Emmett's tone became a little more indifferent as he said. "I don't have time. You can go and look for him. I'm going to have a meeting soon, so I’m going to hang up.”

“Alright.”

Alyssa hung up the phone. She held the phone and was lost in thought. Emmett couldn't be blaming himself, could he?

"Is there still a lot that you haven't done yet? Do you have time to have breakfast with me tomorrow?"

"Yes."

Alyssa looked at Justin's "yes" and felt a little helpless.

This child usually used to chat with her on WeChat like a chatterbox. He had been talking non-stop, and now he was about to become as thrifty as Emmett. He would not speak a needless word.

Then, Alyssa sent when and where they were going to meet to Justin.

The next day, Alyssa arrived at the restaurant she had booked in advance.

She had come to this restaurant with Justin before. And Justin liked the food here very much.

Justin was very punctual. Alyssa had just arrived when he arrived.

Justin did not look well. His face was pale and bloodless. Almost half of his eyes were covered by his natural curly hair. He looked like a gloomy young man.

He carried a bag on his back and wore a white short-sleeved shirt and gray knee-high pants. He looked very skinny.

Standing at the door, he looked around and saw Alyssa sitting by the window.

"Alyssa." Justin greeted her and sat opposite to Alyssa.

He took off his backpack and put it aside. He looked up at Alyssa.

But because his curly hair was too long, Alyssa could not see his eyes clearly. She only felt that he was listless now, like a depressed puppy with its head drooping. He looked pitiful and painful at the same time.

Alyssa had not seen him for a while.

She smiled at Justin and asked, "You are very punctual, but you really need a haircut.”

"I've been busy with my homework for the past two days. I'm going to cut it a few days. Maybe the day before the school starts." Justin touched his hair and said in embarrassment.

Looking at him like this, Alyssa made an offer tentatively, "Why don’t we go to the barber’s shop later together?”

Justin was still willing to listen Alyssa's words and nodded obediently, "Yes."

"Come on, let’s order first. I am hungry." Alyssa pushed the menu in front of him, as she spoke.

Justin ordered two dishes and Alyssa ordered the rest.
