Alyssa curled her lips and smiled stiffly. "Although I know Mr. Lawrence is very wealthy, I don't need you to spend money like this."

She stayed at Sampson's place for a while. She did not need too many daily necessities, but she needed a lot of money buying them one by one again.

Those things could still be used, so why did he insist on throwing them away?

Emmett looked at her with a smile that was not a smile. His deep voice contained an unknown emotion. "You don't want to spend my money? Then you find it alright to spend Sampson's money, that hypocrite who took advantage of the situation, and feel at ease?"

"Mr. Lawrence, before you know the truth, please don't jump to conclusions like this. You are harming others!"

Alyssa thought Emmett was too arrogant.

Sampson had never offended him. Did he have to do this to Sampson?

Or was it that this arrogant man had always done things based on his mood?

After Alyssa finished speaking, she did not give Emmett a chance to speak. She added, "Also, you don't need to care whose money I spend.”

She had spent Sampson's money, but she had written down all the money, including the hospitalization fees for the past three years. She had kept the list well.

She had her own sense of propriety in everything she did.

When Emmett heard her words, his expression had already darkened.

How could this woman not know what was good for her!

In order to avoid hearing more unpleasant words from Emmett's mouth, Alyssa did not give him the chance to speak. Once she finished speaking, she quickly walked out.

Behind her came Emmett's angry low voice, "Alyssa!"

Alyssa clenched her fists silently in smugness. She won the fight.

Outside the door, Alyssa briefly explained the situation to Sampson.

Sampson smiled and said to her. "It's okay. I'll keep all your things for you."

It was a coincidence that Emmett, who had just walked out of the room, heard what Sampson said.

He walked over and looked at Alyssa expressionlessly. "Didn't you want to go back and get your things?"

"Huh?" Didn't he just say that there was no need to go back to get it?

Emmett urged her impatiently, "Why aren't you leaving yet?"

Alyssa subconsciously lifted her foot and followed him.

She took two steps forward before turning to look at Sampson.

Sampson smiled at her and followed.

Alyssa stood in the main hall of Sampson's house. She looked at Emmett with a blank expression as he ordered his men to come in and help her carry her things.

The Lawrence Group was such a big multinational company, but Emmett, the President, didn’t have much better things to do?

Could it be that the Lawrence Group was about to go bankrupt?

She had already said that there was nothing left, but Emmett still insisted on bringing people to help her move.

Seeing Emmett's group of subordinates standing in the room without knowing where to start, Alyssa could not stand it anymore and saved them from embarrassment, "I can do it myself. They are all personal belongings."

It was not their fault that they did not know where to start because she really did not have anything.

Emmett stood at the door and took a glance. He clearly found, there were only traces of Alyssa living in this room.

He asked casually, "Isn’t Sampson living here?"

Alyssa was collecting her things and said casually, "He lives in his own room."

Emmett thought for a moment and did not say anything else.

When Alyssa finished packing her things and went out, Emmett's men took over her suitcase and went into the elevator.

Alyssa turned to Emmett and asked, "Don't you live on the other side of mine?"

Emmett glanced at her and said calmly, "It's too small. It's not enough for us."

Alyssa pursed her lips and had nothing to say.

This high-end neighborhood was full of duplex buildings. They were not small at all.

Moreover, Emmett had only moved here for a short time. He wanted to change his house again.

Perhaps rich people were all like this.

The car finally stopped in front of a villa.

Alyssa stood in front of the villa and finally understood why Emmett said the house in the neighborhood was too small to live in.

The villa had four stories, a garden and a spacious courtyard. There were servants and bodyguards in a group.

When they walked to the door, the maids and bodyguards stood in a row on both sides of the door, bowing in unison. "Young Master!"

Alyssa was shocked for a moment before following Emmett with her eyes lowered.

Before the two of them entered the hall, a small figure rushed out to them.

Emmett walked in front of Alyssa. When he saw the small figure rushing over, he stopped and stretched out his arms to hug her.

However, the small figure ran past him and jumped into Alyssa's arms.

"Auntie Alyssa!"

The little girl blinked her big watery eyes and called her in a childish voice.

Angela was very happy and enthusiastic every time she saw her. In the past, Alyssa used to feel delighted at the sight of Angela.

This time, she felt so sad that she wanted to cry.

"Angela."

Alyssa tightly hugged her and her eyes turned red.

How should she tell Angela that she was not "Auntie Alyssa," but she was her "mother”?
