Alyssa asked Angela, "Where did you come from?"

"I came down from upstairs." Angela pointed at the ceiling and said.

Alyssa had just noticed that the stairs in the villa were high and long. When she heard Angela's words, she turned to look at Emmett.

Emmett saw Alyssa staring at him with a reproachful expression. He frowned and took out a piece of candy from somewhere and handed it to Angela.

Then, he said quietly, "Your reward."

Angela took the candy with a face full of joy. She pulled it twice and found that she could not tear it apart. She stuffed it back into Emmett's hand and said sweetly with her childish voice, "Daddy, open it for me."

Emmett tore open the candy paper and put it into Angela’s mouth.

With the candy in her mouth, Angela ran away in satisfaction.

Since Alyssa had already found out, Emmett swaggered in and asked her, "Did you cook in the past?"

Alyssa looked at him and her tone was very cold. "I don't know."

She had lost her memory. How could she remember what happened in the past?

Emmett choked at her answer.

Alyssa thought about it and asked him, "You really can't remember anything?"

"What else?" When this matter was mentioned, Emmett's expression did not look very good. A trace of dark and ruthless aura faintly appeared between his brows.

However, it was strange that Alyssa did not feel fear. Instead, she sighed with emotion that they were sharing weal and woe.

Alyssa cut vegetables as she said, "I had an accident three years ago. You also lost your memory three years ago. Then we might have encountered the same accident?"

Sampson's identity as "fiancé" was fake. The things that he had told her before had to be overturned.

Emmett did not deny it. "We will know after we investigate."

Alyssa stopped what she was doing and looked up at him.

Emmett was rich and powerful. Even though it happened three years ago, it was easy for him to investigate these things.

Sampson was right. Her agreeing to Emmett's conditions was more beneficial than detrimental.

She could accompany Angela and also know about her past matters.

Alyssa did not say anything.

Emmett knew his limits and did not need her to say anything.

Emmett seemed to find it interesting and stayed in the kitchen to watch her cook.

Alyssa almost bumped into him when she picked up the plate. She said angrily, "Don't get in the way here."

Emmett crossed his arms and said. "It’s my house. I can stay where I want to."

What an unreasonable tone!

Alyssa found him boring and could not be bothered to talk to him.

An hour later, Alyssa finished her cooking.

When they went to the dining table, Emmett found three or four plates filled with dishes that looked very cute and delicious.

Without a doubt, they were all for Angela.

The remaining two dishes and a pot of soup were probably his and Alyssa's dishes.

Emmett put his chopsticks aside and said, "Alyssa!"

"Huh?" Alyssa answered absentmindedly and smiled as she put food into Angela's bowl. "See if this is good or not. It's a 'little rabbit', right?

Emmett reached out his hand and pressed the center of his brows. His voice was tinged with a hint of anger. "Is there no food material in the fridge? Or do you think I'm going bankrupt? Am I that poor that we can only eat these two dishes?"

Alyssa did not even raise her head and said indifferently, "If you don't want to eat, then let the maids do it. I did not force you to eat it."

Emmett heard her and frowned. Before he could say anything, a bodyguard came over and whispered, "Special Assistant Frank is here."

Emmett looked at Alyssa and got up with a cold snort.

When he left, Alyssa looked up and glanced in the direction he left.

This man did not seem to be that scary.

In the study room.

Frank brought a group of people with him, carrying a large stack of documents and waiting for Emmett to come over.

When Emmett came over and saw so many documents, he was also stunned for a moment.

He had previously instructed Frank to sort out all his previous matters, as well as the matters between him and Alyssa, and give them to him.

But he did not expect there would be so much information.

“Young Master.” Seeing Emmett coming, Frank nodded at him and placed the documents on the table.

Emmett stretched out his hand and lightly tapped the information twice. He said, "They are all here?"

Frank said respectfully, "This is only a relatively important part. If Young Master wants more details, I might need more time to sort them out."

Emmett casually flipped through two pages and said, "I see."

After Frank left, Emmett started to read the information in the study room.

The information on the files was unbelievable. It was as if he was looking at someone else's matter.

Could he be so bored as to pretend to be his cousin and lie to Alyssa?

Also, this Alyssa was also very bored as she even pretended to be an ugly woman?

Even if she did not pretend to be ugly, she would not look much better. She was only a little more pleasing to the eye than other women.

With this thought, Emmett had never left the study room.

In the dining room downstairs.

Angela had already gone to play after eating her fill. Alyssa did not see Emmett come down after he left. She could not help but be a little surprised.

Emmett really did not come to eat?

He was so petty?

Alyssa found a maid and asked, "Where is Emmett?"
