Alyssa paused when she said that. There were too many images in her mind and she received them intermittently.

"Why did Sampson save me?"

"Angela. . . Emmett. . ."

Hazel did not disturb her. She just looked at Alyssa nervously.

At this time, the nurse called the doctor over.

The doctor rushed over. "Glad you wake up. How do you feel now?"

Alyssa's mind was obviously not there. So she did not reply to the doctor.

Instead, Hazel asked, “She just woke up. Do you know what happened to her?"

The doctor replied, "She was unconscious when she was sent over but it was not a big problem. It was just a slight concussion."

"Really? Is it just a slight concussion?" Hazel's expression was gloomy and her tone was a little cold.

The doctor pushed his glasses and paused for a moment before saying, "This kind of mild concussion is very common. She may need to stay for a further observation and if it’s fine, she can leave in a few days.”

Hearing the doctor say so, Hazel smiled in embarrassment. "Thank you. But she has hurt her brain before. Is there any problem this time?"

"That's why she needs to be hospitalized and observed for a few days." The doctor turned to Alyssa and called her name gently, "Alyssa Moore?"

Alyssa came back to her senses. “What?”

The doctor asked her, "How do you feel now? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

Alyssa shook her head and looked like she was lost in thought. "No."

Then her gaze fell on Hazel. She stared at Hazel for a few seconds then sudden asked, "Where is Angela?"


Hazel only remembered that Angela was still sleeping at home after she was asked this question.

She received the phone call and when she heard that Alyssa was in the hospital, she hurried over.

Alyssa was only discharged from the hospital two months ago. So when Hazel heard that Alyssa was in the hospital again, she was a little too sensitive. Besides, she usually lived alone, so she naturally forgot that there was still a baby sleeping at home.

"She's sleeping. . . at home. . ." Hazel said in embarrassment.

When Alyssa heard her, she immediately lifted the blanket to get off the bed. She said anxiously, "Then let's go back now."

"Wait a minute. The doctor said that you have to be hospitalized and observed for a few days." Hazel quickly stopped her.

Alyssa cooperated and nodded. "Okay."

The policeman turned to look at the doctor and said. "How is she?"

The doctor told the police everything about Alyssa.

Hazel reacted half a beat slower and just realized what they had meant in their words. She asked in shock, "What explosion?"

"The criminal called the police himself and said that he was going to blow up the mall. When we were evacuating the crowd, Miss Moore entered the mall. This was my negligence, but fortunately, the explosives made by the criminal were rough and the damage was not strong."

Hazel's face turned pale out of fear. "There are really all kinds of perverts in this world."

Alyssa turned her head and smiled at Hazel, "I'm fine."

After she finished speaking, she turned to the police and said, "Police sir, please hurry up. My child is alone at home. I have to go back."

The police seemed to be a little surprised. "Are you married?"

After he asked, he seemed to realize that the question was very sudden. There was a trace of embarrassment in his eyes, but he quickly got to the point.

The policeman left after he finished taking her statement.

Alyssa was worried that Angela was alone at home, so naturally she would not stay in the hospital.

The doctor still asked her to stay in the hospital for a few days to observe. Alyssa could only use the excuse of "coming for a check-up in a few days" as an excuse and leave the hospital.

On the way back, Hazel finally had the chance to ask Alyssa, "Alyssa, you mentioned that you went to the island to look for Dylan. Do you remember now?"

Hazel had asked this question before, but Alyssa seemed to be deep in thought and did not have the time to reply to her.

Alyssa nodded at first. But before Hazel opened her mouth, she shook her head again.

"You nodded and shook your head. Did you really regain your memory? I am too nervous." Hazel sighed.

"I remember what happened in the past." Alyssa frowned slightly and asked, "But I am not sure if what happened after that really happened. Did I really sleep for three years? Emmett. . . also lost his memory?"
