Alyssa was about to say something but was interrupted by Sampson.

"I know what you want to ask, but today's topic is you treating me to a meal." Sampson looked at Alyssa. "If you really want to ask those questions, you can ask them first."

Alyssa felt that she had to take back her previous thoughts.

She did not like to talk to smart people.

Because smart people could tell at a glance what you were thinking, what you wanted to ask, and what you wanted to do.

Since she had already laid out her cards with Sampson and admitted that she had regained her memory, she naturally wanted to ask about what happened three years ago, and how Sampson knew her.

However, since Sampson had already said so, she naturally would not ask about this.

This meal turned into a simple lunch between friends.

Putting aside Alyssa's doubts, the two of them could be considered to be having a very happy meal.

However, things usually did not go as smoothly as one thought.

Just as they were about to finish their meal, a group of people walked in from outside.

Alyssa only took a glance at them but did not look carefully.

Angela, who was sitting beside Alyssa, saw Emmett who was standing behind the crowd with very sharp eyes.

Angela excitedly shouted, "Empett."

But she was sitting in the children's dining chair and she could not get out of it. So she could only shake her body and be anxious.

Emmett had just stepped into the restaurant when he frowned and stopped. "Someone called me."

Frank, who was following behind him, had no choice but to stop as well.

He listened carefully and did not hear anyone calling for Emmett.

The people walking in front were extremely careful. When they noticed that Emmett had stopped, they naturally did not dare to walk forward. They could only stop and wait for Emmett.

Frank was about to remind Emmett when he saw Emmett looking towards a certain direction.

Frank followed Emmett's line of sight and saw Angela, who was sitting in the children's dining chair with a face full of excitement, and Alyssa, who was sitting beside her.

If it was just like this, it would be fine.

But, there was a man sitting opposite Alyssa.

Frank turned his head and carefully looked at Emmett's expression. He did not notice anything unusual. Only then did he look away. He respectfully stood behind Emmett and said, "It's Young Madame and Young Miss. Are you going to say hello to them, Young Master?”

He was used to calling Alyssa "Young Madame." Emmett did not ask him to change his words, so he was too lazy to change his words.
Alyssa was about to say something but was interrupted by Sampson.

"Didn't you see that she was having a good meal with another man?" Emmett sneered, "Don't go and disturb her."

The word "another man" was clearly emphatic.

Was he jealous? Angry?

Frank was not sure.

If it was the previous Emmett, he was sure that Emmett was angry.

But Frank was not sure about the current Emmett.

After Emmett finished speaking, he strode towards the private room without turning his head.

When Alyssa saw Emmett just now, she thought to herself that she might be in trouble.

Although her relationship with Sampson was pure, Emmett did not think so.

This point was already very obvious to Emmett.

Although she did not know what Emmett was thinking, Alyssa knew that he was angry.

"What's wrong?"

Sampson turned around and looked back. He saw Emmett walking towards the room.

Just now Angela mumblingly called “Empett.” Sampson did not understand that, so he did not know she was calling Emmett.

Now that he saw Emmett, he knew what was going on.

Sampson teased Alyssa. "You guys are really fated. You can even meet each other at a random restaurant.”

"Yeah." Alyssa forced a smile. She always felt that Sampson was gloating over her misfortune.

When Alyssa and Sampson finished their meal, Emmett and the others had not come out yet.

Angela had seen Emmett before, but Emmett did not pay attention to her. So she had always been unhappy. Even if Alyssa tried to cheer her up with an ice cream, she would not be very happy.

Alyssa sighed slightly.

"Are you guys going to wait for Emmett here?" Sampson asked.

Alyssa looked at Angela and nodded. "Yes."

"I have a few patients in the afternoon. I will go back first." Sampson turned around and left after he finished speaking.

Alyssa ordered a cup of fruit tea and accompanied Angela to wait for Emmett to come out.

Emmett did not come out after a long time, which made Alyssa suspect that Emmett might have already left.

She took out her phone and called Emmett. But Emmett did not answer.

Alyssa could only send him a message, "Angela is waiting for you."

It was true that Angela really wanted to see him.

Emmett still did not reply to her.

Alyssa waited for a while longer, but she still did not see Emmett come out.

The suspicion in Alyssa's heart grew more and more.
