Skylar was determined to kill Alyssa.

Even if Skylar could not do anything to her now, if Skylar found out about Angela's existence, Alyssa did not dare to imagine what Skylar would do to Angela.

Therefore, letting Angela stay by Emmett's side was the best choice.

Alyssa took a deep breath and leaned against the wall beside her. She took out her phone and called Emmett.

The phone rang for a long time before it was picked up.

Emmett did not speak immediately after he answered the phone.

Alyssa called his name, "Emmett?"

Emmett only said one word coldly, "Speak."

His voice sounded very cold, but Alyssa could hear some dissatisfaction from his voice.

Alyssa thought for a moment and guessed that Emmett was probably unhappy that she sent Angela to his house.

Alyssa said sincerely, "Sorry, I didn't tell you in advance and sent Angela to your house."

"If you send her here, don't even think about taking her back." Emmett's deep voice sounded more convincing on the phone. There was not a trace of emotion.

Recently, Alyssa had gotten used to Emmett like this.

She replied, "Okay."

Emmett did not answer her immediately.

The other end of the phone was silent for a few seconds before it was hung up.

Alyssa took the phone in front of her and looked at it. She smiled bitterly.

Sometimes, this man was so cold that she did not know what to do.

Alyssa put away the phone and walked out in a bad mood.

This kind of activity was a little tiring. She planned to go and tell Amelia goodbye and go back.

At this time, a tall figure walked over from the front.

"Alyssa."

Alyssa heard the sound and looked up. She was stunned for a few seconds before she accurately called out his name.

"Henry."

The person walking over was none other than Henry.

Her last memory of Henry was already somewhat blurry.

The only thing she could remember was the teenager Henry.

Therefore, the Henry in front of her was actually a little unfamiliar to her.

Henry was wearing a dark blue suit. The cut was proper and gave him a sense of elegance.

He looked a little excited. "It really is you."

He walked up to Alyssa and extended his hand to her. But in the next moment, he seemed to have thought of something. He suddenly retracted his hand and hung it by his side. He looked a little helpless.

"A few days ago, there was a media report saying that you appeared. I didn't really believe it. I didn't think that it really is you." After Henry finished speaking, he sighed again. "I didn't think that it really is you."

He repeated it several times that, "It really is you.”

After three years of wandering around the edge of life and death, Alyssa's view of some things had changed.

If Skylar did not have to count Dylan's death on her, she might have been willing to let Skylar off with a smile.

Not to mention Henry.

Henry did not owe her anything anymore.

"It's really me." Alyssa curled her lips and smiled. "Long time no see."

Henry also said, "Long time no see."

Alyssa noticed that Henry's hands, which were hanging by his side, were clenched and then released.

It was a reaction when a person was nervous.

Alyssa looked at him with complicated emotions. After a brief pause, she said, "There are still friends waiting for me. I will go first."

"Okay." Henry nodded his head mechanically. He just stood there and watched her walk away.

Alyssa walked in front. When she felt Henry's gaze still on her, she could not help but quicken her pace.

When she entered the venue again, she could not find Amelia, so she could only call Amelia.

Fortunately, Amelia answered the phone very quickly.

"I'm a little tired and want to go back first."

"Okay, you go back first. But be careful of the reporters."

If Amelia did not remind her, Alyssa would have almost forgotten about this.

"I see. You should go back earlier too." She hung up the phone and walked out.

She only remembered when she walked outside that she did not see Hazel tonight.

Just as this thought flashed through her mind, Hazel's voice rang out, "Alyssa!"

Alyssa looked up and saw Xavier and Hazel walking over.

"I didn't think you would also come to participate in this event. If I knew you would also come, I would have gone straight to find you." Hazel walked closer and complained to her, "Speaking of which, it's all Xavier's fault. I don't know where he drove to. We only came now."

Xavier followed from behind. "It's my fault? Didn't you tell me to change the road because of the traffic jam?"

Hazel turned her head and looked at him with a fake smile.

Xavier immediately trembled.

Hazel turned her head and asked Alyssa, "You came to participate in the event. Where is Angela?"

"I sent her to Emmett’s house." After Alyssa finished speaking, she looked at the time and said, "You guys go in first. Otherwise, the event will end soon."

"Okay." Hazel nodded and suddenly raised her head to ask her, "You're going back now?"
