The lab was in disarray, but it had not changed much. Nash thought about what was inside and hesitated. "Maybe you shouldn't go in."

"Why not?" Nina asked. "You were just asking me about the mechanisms inside. I need to go in to understand."

Nash frowned slightly. "The things inside the lab are not easy to look at."

"So that's what you're worried about," Nina realized. "It's okay. I've heard about so many unbelievable things already. Nothing can scare me now."

She reassured Nash, showing her inner strength.
