When Lydia finally hit rock bottom, Eugene planned to step in and offer his support. That way, she would remember his kindness deeply and she would likely end up despising Quincy completely. "Alright, Mr. Ford, I'll head back to handle those files," his assistant said, though he couldn't help but feel puzzled.

"If you truly love someone, shouldn't you want them to be okay?" the assistant wondered.
