Jamie guessed the figure outside the door wasn't Noah.

With a faint smile to her assistant, she said, "It's probably Ben. After all, I'm his secretary. It's only right to support my boss."

The assistant nodded, thinking her reasoning made sense.

Outside, Ben raised an eyebrow, the corners of his lips curling into a satisfied smile before walking away.
