Theodore felt a terrible pain in his chest.

"That damned burglar! He should have just focused on stealing things instead of being a busybody."

Suddenly, someone knocked on the ward door. Theodore furrowed his brows, feeling beyond frustrated. The knocking continued.

Theodore pulled the sheets over his head.

The person outside the ward seemed worried that Theodore might do something foolish and opened the door and barged in.

The moment the door was opened, Theodore grabbed the table lamp by the bed and flung it at the door. He roared, "Get out!" A woman shrieked, "Ahh!"

Aurora could feel a sharp pain on her forehead. She stumbled and crashed on the floor as blood dripped from her forehead.

When Theodore realized it was Aurora, he immediately sat up on the bed and was about to get out of it. However, his stomach suddenly churned. The pain made him collapse on the floor.

"Mr. Spencer!" Aurora struggled to crawl up from the floor and dashed toward Theodore. She bent over to help him up. "Are you alright?"

Theodore looked up and saw the blood on Aurora's forehead. "Why are you here?"

The fierce and aggressive look on Theodore's face frightened Aurora.
