Vincent's eyes flashed with sharpness as he flipped Rosalie to the ground, narrowly dodging the bullet.

He quickly rose from the ground and rushed toward the shooter. He then kicked him to the ground and grabbed a gun. Bang, bang, bang!

The sound of gunfire filled the air until the magazine was empty and all the attackers lay on the ground, silent.

Vincent stood with the gun in hand, his tall figure swaying unsteadily. Blood churned inside him and continuously flowed out.

Just as he was about to collapse, Rosalie rushed over and caught him in her arms.

Her trembling hands pressed against the gunshot wound, but with the injuries on both his shoulder and back, she couldn't stop the bleeding. She was at a loss, unsure of what to do.

"Why worry? I won't die." A mocking smile appeared on Vincent's face. "Looks like you'll have to pay me double, or I'll have to kill you right now."

Hearing his harsh words, Rosalie didn't get angry. She didn't care about what he said, only what he had done. He had shielded her from the bullets with his life that was the undeniable truth. "Whatever you want, I'll give it to you, but you have to stay alive to take the money. I'll take you to the hospital now. Let's go."

She absolutely couldn't let this man die.

Rosalie, though frail, struggled to help the man up. She could no longer drive her car as the tires were damaged.
