The man's breathing grew heavier and rougher.

Rosalie summoned her courage to face his injury, watching as he used tweezers to pull a bullet from his chest and then toss it into a nearby dish. He tilted his head back and let out a long breath. Then, he used the tweezers to remove the shards from his wound. After that, he picked up a bottle of hydrogen peroxide to rinse his wound, but his hands were trembling.

Rosalie took the hydrogen peroxide from him. "Let me handle it. I'll help you."

Vincent let his hands fall to his side, not stopping her.

Rosalie carefully rinsed his wound with hydrogen peroxide. As if afraid of causing him pain, she blew gently on his injury while cleaning it.

Noticing her actions, a playful smile flickered in Vincent's eyes.

After she finished rinsing his wound with hydrogen peroxide, she followed up with a saline solution to clean the residue. Next, she disinfected the area with iodine and bandaged the wound. There was still a bullet lodged in his shoulder.

He couldn't extract the bullet from his back by himself, so it was up to Rosalie to do it.
