Rosalie broke the silence.

"Sebastian, I was just as shocked to find out. The fact that we are cousins is hard to believe. But since our previous marriage wasn't real, I hope we can both move on without any burdens."

Rosalie was still struggling to process the revelation that Sebastian was her cousin. It was hard to imagine how their relationship had shifted from friends, to husband and wife, to ex-spouses, and now to cousins. The absurdity of it all left her at a loss for words.

She didn't know what emotions were appropriate anymore, but she knew she couldn't let herself get too worked up. No matter how she reacted, it wouldn't change anything. In the end, she could only face reality with acceptance.

The only consolation was that she and Sebastian were already divorced, and their feelings for each other hadn't been deeply entangled. Otherwise, things would have been even worse.
