Chapter 26: Never Admit Defeat 

"Do you know what time it is now?!" Maxwell's cold voice rang.

Isabella couldn't help but shiver.

As she looked toward the direction of the voice, she found Maxwell glaring at her on a couch in the hall, his eyes fixed on her.

"I don't know!"

Perhaps due to the alcohol, she mustered up her courage and talked back to him.
