147 Taking advantage

Maverick laid Jeslyn to sleep on a huge bed before he stood by the side to watch her. She was so

drunk that the smell of alcohol on her was horrible but Maverick had no intention of waking her up or cleaning her up. It was to his own advantage because he knew that she would be throwing a tantrum by the time she woke up.

Sat by the bedside and looked at her lovingly. He missed her so much that he couldn’t stay back anymore and broke the stupid rules laid down by Celestine.

He knew that if he did it so brazenly when Jeslyn is still this angry at him, the result might be bad rather than good, so he schemed against that stubborn bull to have his way.
