Chapter 10 Many People Like Crystal

In the days that followed, Crystal was very busy.

She met up with Jake. He was very capable, and he could figure things out after a few meetings.

In the spacious and bright office, Jake read the documents Crystal gave him in detail, then smiled gently and said, “Henry referred you to me, so I’ll give you a rough picture. Optimistically speaking, the sentence could be reduced to two years.”

After getting out of the elevator, Crystal was about to hail a ride home.
