"She looks just as nasty as Selena!" As Megan spoke, she rushed straight over.

Meredith stared at Juniper, noting how the girl looked so similar to Selena as if she was really carved out of the same mold as her mother, but she also resembled Pierre a little. However, the resemblance with him would not be realized unless one knew they were father and daughter, and if one didn't know, they couldn't be linked together at all.

Meredith was glad that this girl looked like Selena because if she had looked like Pierre, that would be rather terrible since everyone would know who her father really was.

But the appearance of this little girl made her feel a sense of danger as well. After all, they had thought that this little girl would not survive; she was born with a respiratory issue that caused her to be put into the incubator just after her birth. Since her weight was only four pounds, plus Selena was so poor, they all thought that she certainly could not possibly survive.
