Chapter 946

When Maja got to the company, Cornelia was already there.

She had someone check the surveillance around the company, looking for suspicious vehicles.

Alma had some experience causing car accidents before, and it was likely she’d use the same trick again.

Sure enough, her guys reported back soon. There was a big truck parked about 200 yards from the company since the afternoon in a place where trucks never usually parked, the area was all office buildings.

Maja had one of her bodyguards dress up in Zoey’s clothes, complete with a mask and hat, pretending to be Zoey, and had Cornelia get in the car with the bodyguard.

This bodyguard was the best driver in all of Rosewood Manor. He’d lead the truck onto a bridge, where the car would plunge into the river. Zoey would pretend to be rescued, and Cornelia would just disappear into the river.

And so the plan was set in motion.

The car had barely gotten far when the truck started tailing them.

Even though the car was about to plunge into a river, Cornelia wasn’t scared at all. She trusted Maja, and she trusted Maja’s people.

The car drove all the way onto the bridge, and the truck finally found its opportunity.

The car crashed through the guardrail and into the water.
