The rehearsal was over, but Eileen wasn’t ready to leave just yet. Her eyes darted around the room, lingering on the laptop nearby.

Egbert, with an icy expression, grabbed the laptop and flipped it open.

She blinked, let out a small laugh, and feigned disappointment, “Oh no, you’ve deleted everything and I can’t even open the website. What a shame. Can I borrow your laptop for the night? I don’t have one/ I’ll return it tomorrow.”
