Chapter 317 I’m Crazy, but You Can Save Me

In the meantime, Rosie was lying on the bed with a look of extreme boredom on her face. “What’s Mr. Winters up to?” she asked.

“It seems like he’s having an argument with Miss Bailey. I heard that the argument got pretty intense, the maid, who was massaging Rosie’s legs, replied.

“An argument, huh?” Rosie’s eyes lit up upon hearing that Elias and Amanda were having a fight. She sat upright as she asked more about it. “Give me more details. What have they been arguing about?”

“I’m not sure. I heard that the argument first started in Aiden’s room. It was so loud that the maids who were cleaning the corridors could hear their voices,” the maid explained. Rosie could barely contain her laugh-she was very invested in the story. “What else?” she asked.

Upon recognizing how pleased Rosie seemed, the maid continued to tell Rosie about the gossip she had been hearing. They left the room when their fight got too intense-they didn’t want to wake Aiden up. I’m not sure what happened after that. I only heard about this when I went down to get you some porridge carlier, the maid explained.

“They left? Where would they have gone to have the argument?” Rosie muttered. The maid tried to recall what she had heard from the conversation earlier. “I think they went to Mr. Winters’ bedroom,” she replied.

“What?” Rosie let out an astonished cry and her eyes widened in shock. Did they bring the argument to the bedroom? Is that still an argument? Are they just looking for a private spot without Aiden so that they can flirt with one another? All Rosie could think about then were images of Elias and Amanda getting intimate with one another. The more she thought about it, the more emotional she felt. She felt like she was about to lose her mind!

“Argh!” Rosie couldn’t help but let out a loud cry. The maid was stunned by her sudden outburst, and she stumbled backward before she turned and hurried out of the room. Rosie looked like a crazy witch then- the expression on her face was an extremely dark and eerie one.

Rosie couldn’t hold it in any longer! She got out of bed and threw a jacket over her shoulders before she rushed out of the room. No one knew where she was headed off to. The maid had been standing outside the room, but she didn’t have the guts to ask Rosie anything when Rosie stormed out. The maid had no choice but to quietly tag along behind Rosie.
