Releasing a breath, I try to steady my heart. This is one conversation I never thought I would have with Lilly at this age. The one thing I'm grateful for though, is that she didn't ask where exactly babies come from. That would have been a very difficult conversation.

"I need to head to my room real quick, and then I'm leaving," I inform them, ignoring the whole baby talk.

"You still haven't told me where you are going." Gabriel reminds me.

In my defense, I would have told him, but I got distracted. Well, he distracted me.

"I'm meeting Ava and the girls for lunch."
